Firstly I would like to fight against many clichés about Paris.
1- Paris is very expensive... it depends what you want to do and where you want to go...If you stay on the Champs Elysées or in the 16th district, it's true. But if you go in place where parisian are living, you will have places where you can eat well for 20€ or less, others where you can have pints of lager for less than 5€...even in Montmartre...
2- Paris is a big city...no! you can do a lot with your feet or with the low costs bikes called velib. We will tell in this blog some of the no touristy places to visit (streets, gardens, museum...).
3- Paris is dead by night...compared to Berlin, Madrid or Barcelona it's true. But you have many bars that are living till 2 AM. After it's more difficult to find places which are not clubs...and in Paris, a club is an expensive place for happy few...
